Come Home Daddy!

It's been 5 crazy days around the Moser house since Jim's been away on his birthday Harley ride to Kansas with his buddy, Joe. During the week, the kids and I have a routine...it's almost a science! Most days, everything flows pretty well. But you take Daddy out of the mix and it throws everything off!

We tried to stay busy...but the first day Jim was gone, Hannah caught some bug and was puking all over me, our bed, and the bathroom for 24 hours. We couldn't even leave the house that day! But she recovered just in time to spend the night at her BFF Tessa's house on Friday night. Saturday, Mason spent the morning with his Grandma. That evening, the kids participated in an "Under the Sea" evening at our gym (it's really called 'Parent's night out'!!!) They had pizza, watched The Little Mermaid, jumped in a bounce house, and made edible aquariums! Mommy spent the evening wandering aimlessly around some crowded stores with LOTS of breakables (places I NEVER go with the kids!)

Today we spent a couple hours at Jim's sister Jenny's house...Hannah loves to play with her cousin, Austin! Later in the afternoon, we enjoyed the nice cool fall weather and headed to the park....oops I mean it was 102 degrees today and we sweated our butts off! :( Come on October....get here QUICK! Despite the heat, Hannah and Mason played on the swings (Mason's fave ha ha) and watched the ducks. We ended the night with the playland at Mickey D's. (Can you tell I was trying to wear these kids out?)

BFF's

No question about it....Hannah's BFF is and always has been Tessa. As a matter of fact, Tessa is such an influential figure in my daughter's life, that I use her as a bribing mechanism. "Hannah, you better sit down so I can brush your hair. TESSA brushes HER hair before SHE goes to school....so you better do it too!" It works like a charm (for now, anyway).

Hannah was so excited to have Tessa spend the night this weekend. I think they watched Toy Story together at least 3 times and fell asleep in OUR bed together. Jim and I were banished to the couch together that night! (Usually if there's someone sleeping on the couch, it's JUST Jim! LOL) Anyway, the girls had a blast being super goofy together this weekend!

Under the Sea

My kids get a little excited by The Little Mermaid. (don't tell Mason's friends when he's older or he might get the crap kicked out of him!) In this video, you can hear Hannah trying to sing the words...while Mason gallops around the room!

Deeee...pants!

The other night, Hannah thought it was hilarious to try to pull her daddy's pants down while we were cleaning the kitchen! Soon, Mason joined in on the fun times too!

Happy Birthday Makenzie!

Hannah and I decided to take a last minute trip to CA this past weekend to celebrate Makenzie's 3rd bday (my cousin's daughter). Mason stayed home with daddy for a little man-to-man bonding time.

The girls played hard and fought hard! LOL It was hilarious seeing them interact with their exuberant personalities! Hannah did great during the 5 hour road trip there and back! We always love visiting Sunshyne, Chris, and Makenzie...and we're looking forward to their Thanksgiving visit to OUR house this year....with their new family addition! Baby Ethan...are you here YET???

Mountain Retreat

For Labor Day Weekend, we took off to the mountains for some camping again! This time, we joined my mom and Reggie, our friends Cathie and Bill...and Bill's kids too! The weather was nice and we even got rained on a couple times! The kids had a ball running thru the muddy puddles of water! I had to take those pictures with squinty eyes...because as a mother, it was tough to watch them getting all wet and dirty! :)
